(More customer reviews)It's a simple device, right? Supposed to perform a simple function - scoop ice cream and eject it into a bowl. IT DOESN'T WORK! I bought one of these and the piece of @#%&@ broke on the third scoop if ice cream and has never worked since. The metal device that is supposed to eject the ice cream from the scoop is made of flimsy, soft metal, and simply bends when you push the handle! You are left with a $25 spoon with a fancy handle that does nothing - useless!Calling this Professional Series just adds insult to injury. It's a total piece of junk! Why on earth a company like KitchenAid, which sells several-thousand-dollar appliances, wants to trash its reputation and permanently alienate consumers by selling unmitigated junk like this is beyond me. This is two out of two KithchenAid utensils I've had that do not work (also have a can opener that's junk). DON'T BUY IT, and stay away from Kitchenaid - their quality control is obviously nonexistent.
